Heritage walk – Puraani Raah Naye Kadam (Heritage walk – Old Path new Steps ) – This is an initiative taken by our organisation – AAGAAS FEDERATION with the guidance of District Magistrate Mr. Ashish Joshi ( IAS) of District Chamoli.AAGAAS is working in the Central Himalayan Region since last around 14 years . We are trying to revive the Old Pilgrim – Yatra route or Chatti marg in Chamoli Garhwal . In phase first the Old Yatra marg from Chamoli – Laal Saanga ( 982MMSL) to Pipalkoti ( around 1300MMSL ) will be explored . This initiative is taken with the positive support and guidance of Mr. Ashish Joshi ( IAS) District Chamoli and Mr . J.P.Maithani ( Founder and Chairperson of AAGAAS FEDERATION) on 12th October 2017 as an initiative.
